Certain sauces like mustard may stain light coloured bottle options. Please be aware of this when selecting your colour of bottle for which sauce.
We recommend using your Saucie bottle for smooth condiments such as mayo, ketchup, American mustard, barbecue sauce.
Chunky sauces such as chutney or seeded mustard are not recommended, as the nozzle could easily get blocked. Please avoid using anything chunky in your Saucie bottle!
We have gone to great effort to make sure that your Saucie won't leak, however there are a couple of things to know:
- Saucie bottles are not suitable for oil, vinegar, soy or water based sauces. Keep in touch: this is coming!
- If you take your Saucie bottle from the fridge straight into the sun you may experience a small leak, due to heat expansion. We recommend putting your Saucie in the shade when going outside.
Condiments that have a high water or oil amount may leak out the squeeze nozzle when sitting on the fridge or on a shelf. Please be aware items like oil, vinegar, soy sauce are too runny for saucie bottles to hold. We will be coming up with a new bottle for these items.
Condiments that work best in these bottles are ones that are not thick and not too runny. They have been made to squeeze items like aioli, kewpie mayonnaise, tomato sauce, barbecue sauce or American mustard. You may have trouble with items such as thick Dijon or seeded mustard.
